You may know it as Three Peaks, Tri Towers or Triple Peaks. One deck, three pyramids, and the aim is to clear all of them.
The layout: eighteen cards face down in three pyramids of three overlapping tiers, with ten face-up cards laid over the top. The remaining twenty-four form the stock, and the first of those starts the waste pile. Any tableau card one rank above or below the top of the waste can move onto it, suit irrelevant — which is what makes long chains possible. Run 7-8-9-10-9-10-J and keep going as far as the sequence holds. Cards uncovered along the way flip face up and join the available pool.
That chaining is the whole appeal. A single well-chosen card can collapse half the board.
