Classic Solitaire

In 2011, our founder Alex Harbuzenko set out to bring the old Windows Solitaire
to Android. He had played it for years on a PC and wanted the same game in his
pocket, right down to how it looked. Nothing off the shelf came close, so he built
the pieces himself. He wrote scripts that generated the card faces, drew the pips,
and painted the numbers, adjusting them again and again until the deck matched the
one from Windows 3.1 almost exactly.

The first release looked and played like the original. The rules, the scoring, and
the look of the cards were all faithful to the game people remembered.

Fifteen years, many platforms

Since that first Android build, the game has traveled a long way. It now runs on
iOS, Tizen, macOS, and Windows, and over the years it reached players through the
Samsung Store, the Amazon Appstore, and the Blackberry and Opera stores. Downloads
have passed several million, and tens of thousands of people still sit down to a hand
on one platform or another today.

The same game at heart

It has grown over the years, yet its character has stayed the same. The graphics
keep the old look on purpose, and the rules are exactly the ones you remember. It also
gathered a small family along the way: FreeCell, Spider, TriPeaks, and Pyramid, each
built with the same respect for the original.
