A warning before anything else: this one is not gentle. Even the lowest difficulty setting assumes you have played hidden-object adventures before and want to be made to work. If that sounds like a complaint, this probably isn't the game for you. If it sounds like the point, read on.
Jessica Loraine was twenty when she inherited a country estate that nobody had lived in for centuries. The village had stories about it — a curse, something still inside. She went anyway, with friends, and crossing the threshold was enough to wake whatever had been sleeping there. Her friends are now held in a realm of phantoms, and getting them back means travelling as far as Africa to find a sorcerer willing to help, and older ancestral spirits willing to be asked.
From there the work is twofold: give the estate's restless dead their peace, and assemble a Voodoo talisman strong enough to stop a sorcerer who has decided Jessica's body would suit him better than his own.
Thirty-five locations, twenty-three hidden object scenes, and forty-five puzzles and mini-games pitched across a wide difficulty range. The hint system doesn't work the way you'll expect. The art carries the rest.
